Fall Events

Ahhh!!  The crispness of fall has arrived!  Fall always energizes me just like spring does.  I love the clear blue skies, the cool, cool nights and the anticipation of the holidays just around the corner.

Fall also brings with it the busyness of getting ready for those holidays.  Shopping, planning, cooking, cleaning, shopping, shopping and shopping some more.  I would love to help you with some of your shopping needs this year.  Create a unique piece of art for friends and family with Everyday Alphabet Pics!  I have some new products which include the new Alabama and Auburn prints that the photos were taken on the campuses!  The new Bubbly Brights and prints from the Galaxy of Lights at Huntsville Botanical Gardens add some more color to my collection.

I have update my catalog with this post so be sure to take a look there.  Some photos are gone and new ones are added.

I have several upcoming events where you can find me.  This week I will be at Bob Jones High School in Madison on Tuesday and then on Thursday, I will be at Sparkman High School.  I am thrilled to be able to set up a booth on the arsenal a couple of times in October.  One of those times I will be in building 4203 (don't have a clue, but I'm sure some of you do) for two days the end of October.  I will be doing a craft fair in Georgia the first weekend of November and then the Christmas NEACA show at the VBCC the first weekend of December.  I still have some room on my calendar if you would like to host a party or have me set up at your place of business.

I look forward to seeing many of you this fall and helping you create that unique gift for your loved ones.  Be sure to forward this to your friends and PLEASE follow my blog.

Win FREE Everyday Alphabet Pics Product!!

I hope you are enjoying your summer.  It has been a hot one, but isn't that normal for Alabama?  Before we know it the weather will cool off (not soon enough for me!), school will start, and the busyness of fall will be here. So enjoy the rest of the leisurely days of summer.

I am working on getting my calendar full of events for the fall. If you work at a place that allows vendors to set up and sell, let me know. I would LOVE to come to your place of business. I did really well at schools last fall and am already scheduled in several for this fall, but would love to add more!

I will be at the Sidewalk Art Stroll in downtown Huntsville on Thursday, July 21st and again on Thursday, August 18th. This has been a fun event every third Thursday of the month during the summer, and I've enjoyed having my grandson, Blake, help me. Come join us for these last two.  They have a farmer's market, fresh baked breads and jewelry as well of a lot of other crafts, including Everyday Alphabet Pics!

I am also gearing up for the fall selling season and I could use your help!  I have a couple of new products that I need names for, so I'm going to have a contest!  A winner will be chosen for each CATEGORY.  The winners will receive $50 of product.  They can choose from anything other than the custom framed prints.  So here we go!

I will post a photo of the product along with a decription and then you send me your suggestion.  You can send as many suggestions as you want.  The contest ends on Friday August 12th!

Now, before you try to READ the above - it does not spell anything!  So don't even try! lol

These are 4 x 6 photos that would be mounted on my Clip 'n Sticks.  I have given each style a name, but I need a name for the CATEGORY.  I see these in baby and children's rooms.  As you can see in the top four that do spell baby, I can change the colors.  I will probably start out stocking one color of each style, and then branching out from there.  So.....what would YOU call these?  I would also like for you to tell me your three favorites!

I am very excited about the above product.  These are custom prints that will be mounted on gatorboard and can be hung without a frame.  If you will notice, I have changed the photos in the brown & pink "Emma" to sepia. Customers would be able to choose their photos from my catalog just like they do for the Clip 'n Sticks and other custom framed pieces.  Just a little more fun.  Great for kids rooms!  Here again, I need a name for the CATEGORY!!  Below are some of the color combinations.  These would probably be shipped directly to the customer for a very nominal S&H fee.

I look forward to announcing the winners in this contest on August 17th!

Gook luck and be sure to "follow" my blog by either joining or by email.

Blog Update 2/11

It has been a while since I updated my blog so I have a lot to tell you about!

First of all, I want to thank each of you for making my fall 2010 a HUGE success!  I would love to have been able to be present at your homes when the gifts were opened and been able to hear all of the comments about the Everyday Alphabet Pics.  I enjoyed so much being able to help you give a gift that was different and that would be treasured for many years to come.

I sort of took January off to recuperate and revamp some things and now I'm ready to start getting those parties and events scheduled.  Just as a reminder, I do home parties, schools, craft fairs, offices and just about anywhere else you want me to be.  I also would love to start doing some fund raisers - so let me know if that would be something you would be interested in for your school or charity.  I think it would be a huge success and I would be able to give a fairly decent percentage of sales to the cause.

One of the things I am most excited about is that you can now order from my blog! It goes through Paypal for payment so it is very secure.  This is something I've done in the interim until I can get the kind of website that I want.  I've tested it and it worked very well.  It is not as easy or streamlined as a website would be but it is definitely workable.  You have to look at the letter pages to choose your letters and then go back to the Clip 'n Stick, Custom, or Inspirations Tiles page to fill in what letters you want.  I am very excited about this new feature!

Speaking of Inspirations Tiles.......that is a brand new product that I am going to be carrying.  Right now, I am taking orders and will hopefully have my first order in about 4-6 weeks.  There is an interesting story behind these.  I had seen these at Atlanta Market last July and have been searching for a manufacturer online with no luck.  With fall being so busy, I really had not had much time to look recently.  Well, a couple of weeks ago, a man from Minneapolis called me and said he had found my alphabet letter blog and had a product that he makes for people that do this kind of photography and wondered if I would be interested in having my letters put on this product.  When he told me what it was I was so excited and told him YES! that I had been looking for this exact thing!  These tiles are perfect for a desk, bookshelf, dresser and any other small place.  Here is a sample:

These letters are not from my collection so don't try to order these.  On my Inspirations Tiles page I have the letters you can choose from for the tiles.  I am thrilled to be able to offer these as part of my product line!

I have a couple of new Inspirational Prints also.  My first with color!

And a great one for Valentine's Day!! (I know it's a little late, but it could also be for an anniversary!)

I am continually looking for new products to add to keep things fresh and fun!

My first craft fair of the year will be at Trinity Marketplace at Trinity United Methodist Church on Airport Rd.  The dates are March 4th & 5th!  This is a fun show and has great products represented.  I will have some things for Mother's Day and graduation so be sure to stop by!

I am looking forward to meeting lots of new people this year and helping fulfill your gift-giving needs.  Please share this post with your email list, FB friends and anyone else you would like!  And visit often!!  Google likes that!

That's it for now!

Newest Product....Clip 'n Sticks!!!

My latest product is now in production!  YEAH!!

Clip 'n Sticks are available in 3 - 12 letters and are
reasonably priced at $9 per letter.
Clip 'n Sticks can be customized while you wait
so they are great for last minute gifts as well
as birthdays, anniversaries, Mother's Day, Father's Day,
weddings - just about any occasion!

Come see me this Saturday, 10/2, at the Madison Street Festival.
The weather is supposed to be
perfect, so it will be a great day to
get out and browse through all the vendors
there.  This is myfirst year to do this festival but from
what I understand, they have about 50%
more vendors this year than last year.
So bring your family and come on out!

Update on latest happenings

I have been very busy the last several weeks with my Everyday Alphabet Pics and have a lot of exciting events coming up.

In July, I was thrilled to be invited by Andrea Guthrie of Zazzy's to go to Atlanta Market with her.  WOW!  What an experience!  I made a lot of great contacts and am currently working with them to hopefully get my pictures into stores all over the country.  One particular person I met has connections with Lifeway, Cracker Barrel and many others.  I have learned so much from the contacts I've made and I feel like God is opening doors that I never could have imagined.

I have a new product that I will post pictures of soon!  Clip Frame Art!  This gives me the ability to create a custom piece that you can take home with you on the spot.  Very clean, modern & simple.  I think you will like what you see.  Be looking for those pictures to be posted soon.

Fall is booking up quickly.  Below is a list of places you can find me over the next few weeks.  Of course, I am still booking Home Parties and if you would like to have one, let me know and we will set a date!!

Saturday, 9/11 - Trunk Show @ Zazzy's on Airport Rd.
Saturday, 9/18 - Fall Shopping Bazaar @ Monrovia Community Center
Saturday, 10/2 - Madison Street Festival
Wednesday, 10/6, 10/13, 10/20 - Fund Raiser @ three locations of First Commercial Bank

In between all of these dates I have several home parties booked and still have room to book more.  Remember that as a host you receive FREE product as well as 15% of your total sales toward your purchase.  Think about those Christmas gifts you are going to need to buy.  It will be here before you know it!!

On a personal note, we are thrilled that we are expecting our 4th grandson in January and that we will be gaining two daughter's-in-law in 2011!

Thanks for all of your support!
